Davy Simony and Cameron Cusack
Fri 13 Nov
A powerful double header featuring two formidable musicians in Davy Simony and Cameron Cusack. Catch these two on their trajectory to massive things, while you still have the chance.
A true prodigy, folk-roots singer-songwriter, Davy Simony, began playing music at just eight years old. By fifteen he was writing original songs and busking on the streets. Since moving to Melbourne his music career has skyrocketed, touring nationally and internationally, playing festivals and opening for acts such as Tash Sultana. Simony boasts a palpable energy on stage; a one-man-band, taking to guitar, foot percussion and live looping, making his live show one that you simply cannot miss and won’t forget in a hurry either.
Contemporary country cross reggae artist, Cameron Cusack, can break your heart with a beautiful country ballad in one breath, and in the next, ignite your spirit with a sultry reggae tune that transports you to an idyllic far-away holiday destination (if only, I hear you sigh). With three charted singles under his belt, a song written just for him by his mentor Troy Cassar-Daley, (whom he also toured alongside), this man was born to sing, and you’ll want to be present when he does.
