Trent Griffin - Colours of My World

Colours of My World is an abundance of colour and brush strokes on canvas, capturing Trent’s imagination and observations of real life, transformed into cartoon and pop icon characters.

Trent’s style is robust, with shapes colliding with lines. Its raw energy just leaps off the canvas. Trent uses a highly complex colour palate, ranging from warm hues of reds to delicate shades of purple, which deliciously merge into an explosion of focus and experimentation, capturing Trent’s vivid perception and eye for social expression and detail.

When Trent was asked what the inspiration behind his painting was, Trent replied simply “to make people feel happy, as I find painting is a source of happiness.”
