Fri 10 Mar - Tue 28 Mar

This incredible exhibition is the outcome of a mentorship program designed by Tanks Arts Centre in partnership with REACH - an Education Queensland Regional Arts Strategy, offering young women experience into the arts industry as a career option.

Seven local established female artists were invited to mentor emerging artists, whose talent had been identified through the 2016 Energy Exhibition - an annual showcase of senior visual arts students' works from around Far North Queensland, held at the Tanks Arts Centre.

The project provides a bridging opportunity for young women to be supported in the early stages of their practice, making and exhibiting work alongside some of the finest artists in Cairns.

Each Artist has brought their own approach to working within the group, supporting each other as new skills are developed and firm friendships are formed.

LAUNCH: 6pm, Friday 10 March
