Presented by the Cairns Art Society, ARTescape brings some of Australia’s leading tutors to Far North Queensland as a platform to develop skills, explore new ideas and sharpen and hone our arts practice.  Now in its 7th year, this Winter School in the Tropics has workshops that cater to everyone, from the beginner to the advanced.  Be encouraged to express your creative vision in abstract, contemporary or traditional styles across a range of mediums including acrylics, oils, watercolours, drawing, mixed media and for the first time, an encaustic workshop.  This year’s event introduces seven new tutors. Be inspired!  Be creative!  Be imaginative!
